ISC Academy Registration

Academy Registration

• Registration opens for the Spring 2024 Academy at 10:00 AM on Feburary 14, 2024.
• Registration opens for the ISC Fall 2024 Academy at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 24, 2024.
• We DO NOT accept walk-up registration. You MUST register online.  Age groups usually fill up within a few days.
• Please read the additional registration requirements in the registration section below.
• There are 10 practices included in each season.
• ISC Academy practices will be held on Friday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Player Eligibility

• Players born in the following birth years can participate in the 2023/2024 ISC Academy Program:
  • 6U – 2019 birth year
  • 7U – 2018 birth year
  • 8U – 2017 birth year

Costs

• The cost for the Fall 2024 program is $125.  This includes expert coaching for all practices, an ISC Academy t-shirt, and a soccer ball.
• The cost for the Spring 2024 program is $125.  This includes expert coaching for all practices, and ISC Academy t-shirt, and a soccer ball.
• Please note that the charge on your account will be listed as “HTG Sports” and not Iowa Soccer Club.

Location

• Fall 2024 Season:  All Practices will be held OUTDOORS at the Hawkeye Recreation Fields.  The address is 2960 Hawkeye Park Road, Iowa City.
• Spring 2024 Season:
  • The first 2 practices are held INDOORS at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center (HTRC).
  • The remaining 8 practices will be held OUTDOORS at the Hawkeye Recreation Fields near the HTRC.
• The Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Center (HTRC) is located at 2820 Prairie Meadow Drive, Iowa City, Iowa.
• The Hawkeye Recreation Fields are located at 2960 Hawkeye Park Road, Iowa City, Iowa.

Additional Registration Information

We limit the total number of participants that we will take in order to truly ensure that the kids that sign up for the program will have access to the ISC’s most highly qualified coaches.  In addition, while the program will always be our entry level beginner program, we can provide more specialized coaching when we have a smaller number of players working with our top coaches.  The focus for the ISC Academy has and will always be about giving the kids a FUN experience, but we also want to make sure that the kids benefit from the coaching expertise that we can provide.

• When you register your child for the ISC Academy, please register your child in their correct birth-year age group.
• In order to maintain the correct coach to child ratio, we limit the number of children we can take in each birth year:
  • 6U (2019 Birth Year) –  (1 Adult Coach per 10 kids) (Mentor Coaches will assist our adult coaches.)
  • 7U (2018 Birth Year) –  (1 Adult Coach per 10 Kids) (Mentor Coaches will assist our adult coaches.)
  • 8U (2017 Birth Year) –  (1 Adult Coach per 10 kids) (Mentor Coaches will assist our adult coaches.)

Academy Refund Policy

Due to the fact that we limit the number of children that we accept for each age group in the Academy, refunds are only issued on a limited basis for the reasons listed below:

• Your family moves out of town prior to the start of the Academy, but after you have registered.
• Your child is injured prior to the start of the Academy and they cannot participate in any part of the program.
