ISC Juggle Club
The ISC Juggling Club
The Iowa Soccer Juggling Club is open to all current ISC players in the 9U through 13U age groups. The club is designed to promote, encourage, and challenge ISC players to spend more time juggling the soccer ball in order to become more technical soccer players, while still having fun. Juggling is an important and integral part of every players development. Players that juggle on a daily basis:
- Have a cleaner first touch
- Learn to use both feet
- Have better overall ball manipulation and control
- Have improved coordination and balance
Use the juggle club to challenge yourself and set personal goals. Daily juggling at home or showing up to practice early are great options for improving your juggling abilities. Work on all surfaces of your body (especially both feet) until you are comfortable using any body part to control the ball. Your touches will increase as you practice. You can juggle any time you want, it just takes you, a ball, and a little space.
RECOGNITION AND PRIZES
Players will be recognized on this webpage for each level they reach above intermediate. Click on the player recognition button in each section to see who has reached the top three levels. There are three levels of prizes each year. Players earn a shirt after they accomplish 5 of the skill challenges at their age level, starting with the ADVANCED LEVEL. For example, as soon as someone meets the advanced level for 5 out of the 8 categories for their age group, they get the advanced shirt. Each player can win up to 3 t-shirts each year. IF A PLAYER EVER REACHES THE HALL OF FAME LEVEL IN 6 of the 8 CATEGORIES, THEY RECEIVE AN ISC JUGGLE WARM-UP TOP and will be identified in the ISC Juggle Hall of Fame.
Players who earn a Juggling Club t-shirt are encouraged to wear them to practice. All accomplishment must be verified. Please see the rules and verification requirements at the bottom of the page.

Rules
- Players may only use their feet. Touches with the feet count toward the total number of juggles. The players must return to zero if the ball hits the ground. All other body parts can be used but they do not count toward the total number of juggles. (Example: If a player uses their thigh to keep the ball in the air it will not be counted, but the player can continue their count with the next touch with their feet. One foot, two foot, thigh, three foot would count as three.)
- The soccer ball must be the same size you play your games with or smaller and be correctly inflated – using a flat ball does not count.
- Unless a foot is specified, to achieve a level above intermediate, the ball cannot touch the same foot more than three times in a row; otherwise, the player’s juggling count stops and the player must return to zero. (This is to prevent players from just using their dominant foot.)
Verification
To verify a player has reached a Juggling Club Level, he or she must submit a video to ISC via the online submission form. After a club coach has verified your submission your achievement will be recognized under each player recognition button.
